Citizen science is the practice of public participation and collaboration in scientific research to increase scientific knowledge. Through citizen science, people share and contribute to data monitoring and collection programs.

We collect photo's from people that go dolphin watching in Lovina. With these photo's we can map the population and focus on our research on damaged dorsal fins.

Everybody can contribute to this research, simply by uploading pictures you made of dolphins to Flukebook. With Artificial Intelligence technology on this website we can recognise individuals and make conclusions on individual health and population health.
