Today we visited our little turtle friends at TCEC.
These two turtles are recovering in TCEC after we discovered two basins in Kedongonan full with sea turtles. We made a case out of this and BPSPL and BKSDA went to the spot to intervene. Perhaps you remember our post a few weeks ago that the basins our now empty! These two little turtles were eaten alive by other turtles in the same basin and were taken out in time. They are recovering and will be released once back to (relative) health.
Also we brought a sample from the stranded Kogia sima to the lab today. The sample has been provided to us by BPSPL. We are happy with the cooperation!
